In a world dominated by social media, 8th graders at Instituto de Humanidades Concepción embarked on a unique journey to express themselves through a blend of writing and coloring — an activity planned by their teacher Miss  Andrea Rodriguez—. As part of an engaging activity designed to foster connection and understanding among students, they were encouraged to share snippets of their lives using their favorite social media apps.

This activity served as the perfect icebreaker, allowing students to showcase their personalities, interests, and experiences creatively and interactively. From heartfelt anecdotes to hilarious ones, each post offered a glimpse into the lives of their peers, sparking conversations and forging bonds.

Students not only honed their writing and artistic skills but also learned the value of empathy, respect, and acceptance. By listening to each other’s stories and experiences, they gained a deeper understanding of their peers and developed a sense of belonging within the school community.

Stay tuned for more updates on our students’ creative and collaborative projects as they explore, learn, and grow together at Instituto de Humanidades Concepción.
